What is the difference between a domain name and hosting?
A domain is the name visitors type to reach you, while hosting stores the website files. Many websites need both. You can register them together or connect a domain you already own.
Can I register a .com.ng or .ng domain?
Yes. Search for your preferred .com.ng or .ng domain to check availability.
Can people in any Nigerian state buy hosting?
Yes. Registration and management are online. You do not need to visit a physical office to order hosting or register a domain.
Can I use WordPress?
Yes. Estha supports WordPress hosting with cPanel.
Is a domain included free with annual hosting?
No. Domain names are registered separately from hosting.
Can I transfer a domain I registered elsewhere?
Transfers depend on the extension, lock status and registrar rules. Check if your domain is eligible and ask support about the process before initiating.
Are .ng and .com.ng the same extension?
No. Both are in the Nigerian .ng namespace, but they are separate registration options with different prices and potentially different eligibility rules.
What are Estha’s nameservers?
Our nameservers are ns1.estha.net, ns2.estha.net, ns3.estha.net and ns4.estha.net. Check your hosting welcome email for the nameservers assigned to your account.
Is a free SSL certificate included?
Yes. Free SSL is included with Estha hosting plans.
Can I upgrade my hosting later?
Ask the team or check the client portal for currently available upgrades and any prorated billing.
Can I contact support before paying?
Yes. Use the WhatsApp support link on this page to ask about plan fit and domain registration.
How do I know whether a domain is available?
Use the search box on the website. It opens the customer portal, where live availability and the price are shown.
Do you offer website migration help?
Yes. We help migrate websites from cPanel and other popular hosting platforms. Contact support with your current setup.
Is there a 7-day refund guarantee?
Yes. Our web hosting plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee. Contact support for the refund terms.
Does hosting include backups?
Yes. We perform nightly backups. We also recommend keeping your own copy of important website files.
Where are Estha servers?
Our hosting uses international data centres. Contact support if you need a particular server location.
Is hosting the same as a domain?
No. Hosting runs the website; the domain name directs visitors to it. Either service can be managed separately.
Can I use WordPress, PHP and databases?
Yes. Our hosting supports PHP, databases and WordPress through cPanel.
Can I connect Cloudflare?
In many setups you can use Cloudflare DNS or proxy services with your domain. Ask for records specific to your hosting account and ensure email DNS remains intact.
How do I activate my hosting?
Hosting accounts are normally activated after payment. An order may occasionally require a security review.
What payment methods can I use?
We accept bank transfers, supported debit and credit cards, and selected cryptocurrencies. You can choose a payment method at checkout.
Can I use my hosting plan for a game server?
No. Our shared hosting plans do not support persistent game-server processes.
Are hosting accounts suitable for high-resource applications?
Shared plans have fair-use and resource limits. Discuss CPU-intensive apps, video distribution and unusual workloads before ordering.
Do domains renew automatically?
Renewal arrangements depend on the registrar, billing settings and your payment method. Confirm renewal preferences and maintain a reminder.
Can I keep my domain if I cancel hosting?
Domain registration and hosting are separate services. Manage and renew your domain independently, subject to account and registry terms.
Why can I not see my new DNS settings immediately?
DNS updates can be cached by internet providers and devices. Allow time, confirm the authoritative nameservers and verify that all records are correct.
Is business email included?
Yes. Email hosting is available. The number of mailboxes depends on your plan.
Does an SSL certificate guarantee my site is secure?
No. It encrypts connections, but updates, access control and tested backups are still necessary.
